2026 Toyota RAV4: Updated bestseller with AWD-i, new LED headlights, and a larger multimedia display. Explore the improved Safety Sense and refined noise insulation.

Toyota has officially announced the market launch of the updated version of its bestseller, the RAV4 crossover. The refreshed model, which is already arriving at dealerships, received several notable upgrades aimed at strengthening its position in one of the most competitive segments of the automotive market.
The key technological focus of the update is the wider adoption of the AWD-i intelligent all-wheel-drive system.AWD-i (Intelligent All-Wheel Drive) uses a separate electric motor to drive the rear axle. This solution not only improves traction on slippery surfaces but also enhances fuel efficiency, as the absence of a mechanical connection between the axles reduces friction losses.
The renewed RAV4 lineup includes both classic gasoline versions and more advanced hybrid modifications. The model is offered in four trim levels, ranging from the entry version with essential safety and comfort features to top-tier trims equipped with a panoramic roof, a 3D surround-view camera system, and seat ventilation.

Exterior updates mainly affect the front of the vehicle. The RAV4 received redesigned LED headlights with sharper, more aggressive graphics, along with a refreshed radiator grille that adds visual mass.
Inside, the crossover features a new multimedia system with a larger display and an updated interface supporting wireless smartphone connectivity. Special attention was also paid to improving noise insulation, particularly in the wheel arches – a key request from owners of pre-facelift models.

The active safety suite Toyota Safety Sense has been further refined and now offers improved recognition of pedestrians and cyclists, even in low-visibility conditions.
Thanks to its balanced combination of reliability, modern technology, and proven ergonomics, the updated Toyota RAV4 has every chance of retaining its status as one of the global sales leaders in its class.
